Terms of Service for Pit Wall

Last updated: 5 November 2026

These terms cover your use of Pit Wall ("the app"), including its in-app purchases and the free Pit Wall Relay.

Who we are

The app is made by DURFU SOFT S.R.L. ("we"), a company registered in Romania: Str. Urusagului nr. 22R, Florești, jud. Cluj, 407280, Romania; registration number J2019002410126; CUI 41246070. Email: info@durfu.ro. Phone: +40 766 337 201.

For support, write to info@durfu.ro. There's no account to sign in to, so please tell us your device, your store and what happened.

The store's terms apply too

You get the app from Google Play, Apple's App Store or the Microsoft Store, and that store's own terms cover your download, your payment and the licence to use what you bought. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement is your licence for it, and these terms add to it. Where these terms and your store's terms say different things about the download, the payment or what you may do with the app on that store's devices, the store's terms apply. Nothing in either takes away your rights under the law.

What the app does and what it needs

The app shows live telemetry from Gran Turismo 7, and records it so you can review your laps. To use it with the game you need your own PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 running Gran Turismo 7, on the same network as your device.

The game's telemetry isn't an official, documented service. Polyphony Digital or Sony could change or end it, and a game update can stop some of the app's features from working until we update the app, or for good. We work to keep the app working, but we can't promise that every feature will keep working with every future version of the game.

Purchases

The relay and the browser version

Pit Wall Relay is a free program you download from GitHub. It runs on your own computer or Raspberry Pi, passes the game's telemetry to your Pit Wall screens and serves a free browser version of the app with the Drive board. Nothing is sold in the relay or the browser version, and no store is involved. You may use them for your own sim racing on as many of your devices as you like. Please don't sell them or pass them off as your own.

The downloads aren't signed by Apple or Microsoft, so your computer will warn you the first time; the README in the download explains what to do. We provide the relay as it is and free of charge, and we'll keep fixing what we can, but it comes with no paid-for guarantee. Your legal rights are unaffected.

Refunds and your legal rights

Your store takes the payment, so refunds and the 14-day withdrawal right go through the store you bought from: Google Play, Apple or your Microsoft account's order history. On Google Play we can also refund you ourselves. If the store can't help, write to info@durfu.ro.

If a purchase doesn't work as described, that's on us, not the store. Write to info@durfu.ro and we'll fix it; if we can't, you can have a price reduction or your money back, as the law gives you. The law of your country says how long this guarantee lasts (at least two years in the EU and the UK), and nothing here shortens it.

In the EU and the UK you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content without giving a reason. When you buy, the store asks you to agree that the purchase is delivered at once and that you lose that right as a result; if you agree, the 14 days no longer apply, as the law allows. If you didn't agree, or you're within the 14 days and the purchase hasn't been delivered, ask the store for a refund or write to us with a clear statement that you withdraw, within the 14 days.

If you're a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law of your country gives you.

What you may do

You may use the app for your own sim racing, including showing it on your stream with the Streamer pack. Please don't resell or redistribute the app or its paid features, get around its purchases, or copy or reverse engineer its code, except where the law gives you the right to.

The app is built on open-source software and community track data. Their licences apply to those parts, and you'll find them in the app under Credits & licences.

Sim racing only

The app and its voice coach are for sim racing. Don't use them in a real vehicle. Their advice is worked out from the game's data, and it can be wrong.

Your data

The app has no accounts and keeps your recordings on your device. Our privacy policy explains what it handles. Back up anything you want to keep: if your device is lost or the app is removed, your recordings may be gone, and we hold no copy.

Changes to the app

We update the app, and updates are free. We may change or remove a feature when the game's telemetry changes, when a store or an operating system requires it, for security, to fix a problem, or when the law requires it. If a change takes away a real part of what you paid for, we'll tell you, and if you don't want to keep the changed version you can ask us for a refund of that purchase within 30 days. Your legal rights stay as they are.

Liability

We're responsible for the app as the law requires, including the legal guarantee above. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited: for death or personal injury we cause, for fraud, for intent or gross negligence, or your consumer rights.

Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we aren't liable for loss that we couldn't reasonably foresee when you got the app, or that comes from using it against these terms, such as lost race results, lost recordings or lost earnings from a stream.

Trademarks

Pit Wall is an independent app. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sony Interactive Entertainment or Polyphony Digital. "Gran Turismo", "GT7", "PlayStation", "PS5" and "PS4" are trademarks of their respective owners, used only to describe compatibility.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date above and publish the new version at this same address. A change applies to a purchase you've already made only if the law requires it or it's better for you.

Law and disputes

Romanian law applies to these terms. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you can go to the courts there. Please write to us first at info@durfu.ro: most problems can be sorted out that way. If we can't agree and you live in Romania or elsewhere in the EU, you can take the matter to the Romanian consumer authority's free dispute-resolution service, ANPC SAL (reclamatiisal.anpc.ro).
