Privacy Policy for Pit Wall

Pit Wall ("the app") is developed by Durfu Soft S.R.L. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Summary

Pit Wall does not have a backend server, does not require an account, and does not collect, store, or share any personal information. Everything the app does happens locally on your device or directly between your device and hardware you control (your own PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 console, or your own relay instance running on your own network).

What the app does

Pit Wall connects to a Gran Turismo 7 telemetry feed broadcast by a PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 on your local network (or through a relay application you run yourself) and displays that data as live dashboards: speed, RPM, lap times, tyre temperatures, and similar racing telemetry. It can also record that telemetry so you can review and compare laps later.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect, and the app does not transmit to us:

• Your name, email address, or any account/profile information (the app has no accounts or sign-in).
• Your location.
• Analytics, usage statistics, or crash reports.
• Advertising identifiers (the app shows no ads).

Information stored on your device only

• The PlayStation IP address / relay URL and connection settings you enter are saved locally on your device using standard app storage (shared_preferences), so the app remembers them between launches. This information never leaves your device except to connect directly to the IP address you specified.
• Telemetry sessions you record (speed, pedal inputs, gear, lap times, tyre temperatures, the car's position on track and similar values) are saved in a local database on your device so you can review them in Analysis. They are never uploaded, and you can delete them in the app at any time.
• Whether you've purchased the optional "Pro" unlock is also cached locally on your device, alongside the purchase record Google Play itself keeps for your account.

Network communication

To find your console, the app sends a PlayStation discovery query to the devices on your local network and reads the console's reply (its address, its model, and whether it is on or in rest mode). It does this when no console address is set, when you tap "Find PlayStation", and to explain a connection that isn't receiving data. Apart from that, the app sends and receives telemetry data only to/from the PlayStation address or relay URL in your connection settings — that is, your own console or your own relay server. We do not operate any server that the app talks to, and no telemetry data is sent anywhere outside the network path you configure.

In-app purchases

The optional "Pro" dashboard unlock is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details — Google Play's own privacy policy governs that transaction: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Children's privacy

Pit Wall is a companion utility for an age-rated racing game and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, and as noted above, we do not collect personal information from any user.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised and the new version published at this same URL.
